This is my favorite place to go for a burrito. The service is extremely fast, and I love the hours as they are open to midnight during the week, and 2AM on the weekends! I like this place more then everybody's local favorite, Pablo's, for the fact that Panchero's has queso to put in your burrito. Whatever you put the queso in, you will not be disappointed in. I like that they mix the ingredients in front of you while building the burrito, so that you are guaranteed a mix of good taste. I think the quality of meat is excellent. They have steak and chicken! Very good tasting and I would recommend you check this out. I don't think I would ever come here for dinner, but it is my favorite by far for a late night meal!

It's ok, no great. I would say 2 1/2 stars really. I like Chipotle a bit more...not much but enough. Too much rice, not nearly enough toppings (really skimpy on the guac which you pay extra for so that's super lame). Also, they mix everything up which I didn't like. A burrito is supposed to be built correct from the start and not mixed up in a gross mush at the end. Tofu was a big plus. But weirdly the tortilla was really thin and rubbery. Eh.

Solid burritos. It's no Pablo's, but they're open late and have queso. Only downside is that the burritos tend to get pretty sloppy because they mix all the ingredients before wrapping. Just ask for a double wrap. Quesadillas are also good. And they have beer!

Great burritos and really fast service. My husband and I pick up food here pretty much every Friday night. We always get the same things. A chicken burrito, steak quesadilla and chips and cheese. Love the blue corn chips. They have a pretty solid group of staff for a college town. I love to see Brandon when I come in. He's always got a smile on his face and knows me by name. Whatever you get put queso on it, you won't be disappointed! This is a great Americanized burrito place. I have recently fallen in love with the burrito bowl with carnitas (pork). It's everything you love about a burrito without the tortilla. I get the veggies on it and it's amazing!

Excellent place for a late night burrito and some chips and guac. Nothing beats a burrito on a fresh tortilla.

I frequent this pancheros location quite a bit. Whenever I go, I do go during peek hours, so please keep that in mind when you read this review. I managed to get a free burrito using the punch card deal. I think it's awesome that they give out punch cards, and who am I to turn down a free burrito. Anyways, I go to this place with my punch card in hand, eager to receive my free burrito. I asked at the beginning if guac and veggies were free with the punchcard, and the burrito-ista seemed like it wasn't a problem. I go to check out, and they tell me i've got a remaining balance of 2 bucks....seriously? I spent anywhere from 70-100 bucks on burritos, and you can't let a dallop of guac and a pinch of veggies slide by? Kind of ridiculous honestly. I had another poor experience tonight when the burrito they were making tore, half the contents fell out, and they double wrapped it. I shouldn't have purchased the burrito because what they gave me was a little more than something you'd expect on the taco bell dollar menu (not to say that's a bad thing). Anyways, I understand that this place caters to high volumes, and it really is just a burrito mill. I go here enough that i was bound to run into a poor experience or two, but it's the petty things that are turning me away. I'll get off my soapbox here. It's a tasty burrito, but I'm tired of getting burned. I'm going to try to make my own burritos now.

Somewhere well above Taco Bell and Qdoba, but just a shade below Chipotle. I am in Cedar Falls 1-2 times a year on the way to visit my in-laws and I always have to stop at Pancheros. I don't know what compels me to visit, but I'm always reminded it is a good choice for late-night grubbing on the road through corn country. Service has always been fast and stellar, the staff are super nice -- even at 12am -- and even the lowly quesadillas pack a punch of cheesy goodness. The ingredients are mixed up on top of the burrito shell while being assembled, so you are guaranteed a great mix of all the flavors with each bite. If you're passing through or just visiting, this is a good place to stop for a break and a gigantic bite to quell your pangs of hunger during a Midwest/Plains road trip.

Just got done eating here. the people working were really cool. Craig, Aaron, and Blake were working and they were really helpful, especially when we couldn't get the water to work. :)

Iowa city is definitely the best, but this is close second! They must have gotten rid of all the lazy employees they had about 1.5 years ago because the service was fantastic. Sad that it costs as much as two steak dinners for two people to eat it, but it's good!

They make their tortillas from scratch right in front of you. They also mix all the ingredients before wrapping them in the burrito. Best burrito wraps I've ever had.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
